Office Visits
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, and high-quality dental care. We understand that you may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs, and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice while we provide the best possible care.
Your first visit is all about you: your comfort, your happiness, and your health
During your first visit we will review your chief concerns, discuss your dental and medical history, obtain your blood pressure, conduct an oral cancer examination, complete a periodontal examination, capture photographs, and take any necessary X-rays of your teeth and mouth.
Dr. Day will discuss her findings with you, help you create your individual treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have. Depending on your individual needs, your next visit may be a consultation to further discuss your options, a referral to a specialist, treatment for a specific need, or a visit with one of our hygienists.
Bring your smile, but also remember to bring these to your first appointment
- Questions you want to ask our dental team
- Your completed patient registration forms
- A list of your medications
- Any dental benefit information (including insurance card)
Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!
We understand you have a busy schedule. We make every attempt to be on time. When you’re preparing to visit, please remember to allow time for parking, entering the building, your dental appointment, questions, and processing your paperwork.
All our appointments are customized in length. If we are remiss about informing you of your anticipated length of appointment, please feel free to ask!
